Geo-location applications like Foursquare and Gowalla (to name a few) are turning peoples' social lives into a game. By checking-in to a business or venue through their mobile phone, users can see where their friends are, be rewarded for return visits, gain points, badges and virtual rewards. More importantly, businesses can now offer scavenger hunts for their customers, gain free publicity, create events and reward participants, create competition between frequent shoppers as well as send out tips, coupons and offers, all through your customer's mobile phone. Businesses that will benefit from this presentation are retail, restaurants, tourism and non-profits. Please RSVP for lunch and the meeting to Emily Call, 918/336-0097 or by email by clicking here.
